About Doyo Kai

In Japanese “Doyo Kai” means Saturday School or Saturday Club. Doyo Kai was organized in the Milwaukee area to teach children Japanese language and culture through the joint efforts of parents and teachers. Using a cooperative approach we are able to offer art, music, calligraphy, Japanese language and Japanese literature programs.

If you are interested in Doyo Kai, we invite you to visit our classrooms during an upcoming Saturday session. Use the contact form to arrange a visit and to ask any questions you may have!

To participate, each student 4 and up must sign up for and attend 2 hours of weekly classes held on Saturday mornings.

Parents agree to notify instructors when their student will be absent from class. Please notify class representatives and the financial officer for long term absences. We kindly ask you to make attendance a priority for continuity of the classroom and for effective learning.
